"You're Not Dead"

Recently Matty showed up for rehearsal with a new tune.  I'd heard it once before on a recording he produced with Ben Singer.  He brought the recording over for us to listen to, and I have continued to play it ever since

Every so often a song comes to visit for a reason.  You hear someone else play it or you write it or you end up playing it with a friend or bandmate, and the bright shiny poignance of it is just overwhelming and leaves you slightly catatonic.  Recently Matty showed up for rehearsal with a new tune like that.

It's called "You're Not Dead," and I can't stop listening to it.

1/17 At The Blind Tiger with Paleface!

On January 17th, we will return to the Blind Tiger to open for the outstanding Paleface.  I'm relly excited about this show, as I love Paleface.




It's gonna be awesome.  Hope to see you there.
